Updated for the week of June 15 – June 21, 2026
Every week I meet with seniors, professionals, and folks who just want their technology to feel a little less intimidating. Here’s what’s on my teaching calendar right now — if any of it sparks your interest, reach out.
Monday, June 15 — Private session
Starting the week one-on-one. I’ve got a private, in-person help session this afternoon — the kind where we roll up our sleeves and tackle whatever’s been nagging at you, at your own pace, one question at a time.
Tuesday, June 16 — Behind the scenes
A quieter day on the teaching calendar — time for prep, planning, and getting ready for a busy back half of the week.
Wednesday, June 17 — Two Apple Watch classes at the Senior Center
A double-header at the Culver City Senior Center today — I’m teaching two Apple Watch classes. We’ll get comfortable with the things that make the Watch genuinely useful: reading notifications, tracking a daily walk, and the health and safety features that bring real peace of mind to you and your family. (The iPhone and iPad classes are still on summer break and resume Wednesday, June 24.)
Thursday, June 18 — CyberSmart Security Training (online)
This afternoon we continue our year-long CyberSmart Security Training on Zoom — the class where, month by month, we cover every element of staying safe online. Spotting scams, protecting your accounts, knowing what’s real and what isn’t — a little at a time, until it all feels like second nature.
Friday, June 19 — Mac User Group, and a happy Juneteenth
Wishing you a meaningful Juneteenth. In the afternoon our Mac User Group meets on Zoom, and this week’s topic is a fun one: using Gemini and ChatGPT. We’ll take the mystery out of these new AI helpers — what they are, how to talk to them, and the everyday ways they can actually make life easier. Bring your questions and your curiosity.
