Updated for the week of May 25 – May 31, 2026
Every week I meet with seniors, professionals, and folks who just want their technology to feel a little less intimidating. Here’s what’s on my teaching calendar right now — if any of it sparks your interest, reach out.
Monday, May 25 — Memorial Day
Quiet on the teaching side today. Back at it Tuesday.
Tuesday, May 26 — Private sessions
Two one-on-one sessions today — one in-person at the TTW office in Brentwood, and a Zoom hour with another regular in the afternoon. Private sessions are how we get unstuck on whatever has been frustrating you, whether it’s a single app or just a long-running pile of “I keep meaning to ask about this.”
Wednesday, May 27 — Culver City Senior Center (free for members) — last classes of the spring run
I donate my Wednesdays to the Culver City Senior Center. This is the final week of the spring session before our short summer break — both classes are wrap-up day:
- 12:30 PM — iPhone Basics: Top 10 Things to Remember — a recap of everything we’ve covered over the last six weeks, from “you can’t break your phone” to recognizing scams, protecting your Apple account, and trusting your iPhone to remember your passwords for you.
- 2:30 PM — Advanced iPad: Streaming with Success — putting it all together after weeks on streaming. The difference between your TV, your internet, and your streaming device; why apps look different from each other; closed captions; and what to do when something logs you out (spoiler: it’s not your fault).
Both classes meet in person at the Culver City Senior Center. The new session starts June 24 — streaming is on the menu again, plus an Apple Watch series. Members can sign up through the Center.
Later in the afternoon, a quick phone check-in with one of my monthly support regulars.
Thursday, May 28 — Private Zoom session
A follow-up coaching hour with a private client to keep building on what we covered earlier in the week. Repeat sessions are how the bigger pieces actually stick.
