In this six-month course, you’ll learn how to safely send, receive, upload, download, and store private documents using secure messaging apps and trusted cloud services — just like your accountant, lawyer, and doctor expect you to.
Each session builds your skills step-by-step using real-world examples and hands-on practice.
What you will learn:

- How to use secure messaging apps
- How to upload documents from your iPhone, iPad, or computer
- How to download files safely from professional portals
- How to share files using secure links instead of attachments
- How to organize important records securely
- How to avoid scams and unsafe sharing practices
CyberSmart Class Details:
WHAT: 6-monthly group Zoom class teaches you how to safely share private documents using secure messaging apps and trusted cloud services. You’ll learn how to upload and download files for your accountant, lawyer, and doctor — and avoid the risks of emailing sensitive information.
WHEN: The second Thursday of every month is from 1:00-2:30 PST, from March 12, 2026, through August 13, 2026.
WHERE: Zoom Virtual Classroom
WHO: Anyone who works with an accountant, lawyer, doctor, financial advisor, or other professionals who use secure methods to exchange documents and communicate; handles tax, legal, or medical paperwork; wants to protect their identity and finances; or simply wants to feel more confident using modern technology. No technical background is required.
